The Bye Bye workshop is a makerspace anchored in the heart of the city of Nantes, which works around skateboarding to raise awareness of local manufacturing. It is also a shop for hand-made skateboards, which offers skateboard manufacturing courses to discover woodworking.

Bye Bye is also a production line of skateboards made in France that seeks to participate in the transition of our production methods and contribute to the productive resilience of the territories. The production is intended to be low-tech and circular, the machines are manual and manufactured in-house and all the offcuts are reused to manufacture other products.

The project is based on an innovative educational approach to work around different themes and generate engagement around manual work and sport. Support young school dropouts towards careers in artisanal and industrial production, digital manufacturing, design and eco-design.
